A safety net is a net to protect people from injury after falling from heights by limiting the distance they fall and deflecting to dissipate the impact energy. The term also refers to devices for arresting falling or flying objects for the safety of people beyond or below the net. Safety nets are used in construction, building maintenance, entertainment, or other industries.

A safety-net gives much more time to a falling object to come into zero velocity than hard ground. This means that the object falling on the safety net has much more time to decelerate without a sudden impact resulting in a softer landing and much lower risk of damage. The spot of the net on which the object/person falls has to be within a certain distance from the edge of the net, the reason being the force of the object will make a huge net sag at the point of impact.

The role of the material used to make the net also matters. The tension or stretch used to make the net (stored in the ropes), also have some roles. The net is to be set at an appropriate height from the hard-ground, so that the object, along with the rope, does not clash with the hard ground. The mesh-hole size should-not be so-big that falling object/people could pass through the holes.

To prevent injuries at construction sites or at an entertainment show, the nets are manufactured with uniform and small mesh all over the net. Garware Technical Fibres Ltd. has expertise in the business of industry grade safety nets and fall protection system. These nets are used to prevent deadly worker falls at the construction sites and allows unrestricted access with the job site safety. The nets are machine made and are given proper heat treatment. The UV treatment to the nets ensures that the lifetime of the nets is enhanced. The type of material used in manufacturing these nets are highly torn and impact resistant and ensures that no object falls through them.

Other than construction site safety, Garware Technical Fibres makes boundary or barrier nets for sports like skiing. They are also machine made with proper heat and UV treatment and have a high impact resistance. In case of any unfortunate event, it can absorb the impact of the skier and keep them safe on the slope. These nets are made using high-quality polymers which are strong and lightweight at the same time.

Window cleaning, or window washing, is the exterior cleaning of architectural glass used for structural, lighting, or decorative purposes. It can be done manually, using a variety of tools for cleaning and access. Technology is also employed and increasingly, automation. The glasses of the high rise buildings are cleaned by suspending a scaffolding that is held by a wire or a rope. Garware Technical Fibres provide ropes for Abseiling which means descending on a vertical surface. These ropes have to hold the weight of the cleaner and in some cases the scaffolding which can weigh in tons.

Whichever the field or area, Garware Technical Fibres have excelled in it by providing their best in the class products and top class customer satisfaction around the world.
